Sales Specialist / Business Development Specialist​ (m/f/d)

with focus on our distribution partners

(Position is based at Homeoffice)

 

This is what you can expect:

Drive Garlock sales strategy and execution

  • Manage relationships with our distribution partners in Europe in particular Scandinavia, Benelux, Spain, Portugal and Italy.
  • Establish and develop effective sales channels to facilitate profitable growth.
  • Outline actions and targets in collaboration with our distribution partners.
  • Provide insight into the requirements of our distribution partners regarding trends, competition and pricing.
  • Regular engagement and visits to distribution partners and their key stakeholders.
  • Follow and enforce company policies and procedures.
  • Address customer queries and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor Sales and Operational Results Based on KPIs.
  • Represent Company at Industry Trade Shows.

 

 

These are your qualifications & skills:
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, English/German proficiency required, other languages are considered a plus.
  • Processing industry experience (Pharmaceutical, Food and Beverage, Chemical industry) is required with a preference for experience in fluid handling equipment and/or fluid sealing products.
  • Demonstrated success in driving results in sales, partner/channel management and business development.
  • 5 years of demonstrated commercial success (sales and partner/channel management).
  • Willing to travel +50% of the time (at normal times).

For our subsidiary, ASEPTIC PROCESS EQUIPMENT, we are looking for a
Business Development Manager D-A-CH (m/f/d)
(Home Office based in Germany)

 

Your role:
  • You will be responsible for developing new business opportunities as well as supporting our existing clients.
  • You are a sales-oriented business development expert who is able to find innovative solutions and inspire customers and colleagues with knowledge and passion.
  • You develop the sales strategy for pharmaceutical/biotech/instrumentation customers.
  • You are involved in the design of the go-to-market strategy including marketing initiatives and sales campaigns of the ASEPTIC Group Biopharma.
  • You identify and initiate new market trends in the field of Bio Pharma to execute tailor-made business opportunities.

 

 

Your skills:
  • At least 3 years proven experience in a sales function
  • Fluent in German and English
  • Commercially strong
  • Good knowledge of the pharmaceutical/biotech/instrumentation industry
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • High digital competence
  • Diplomatic and flexible
